The French word “boudoir” means a woman’s bedroom or private room. Originally these type of photographs were intimate and sensual portraits of women in their own bedroom.
Now boudoir photography moved from the bedroom to a photography studio but not only! Boudoir became more a photography style than a place where the photos are taken. For this reason a boudoir photoshoot can take place almost anywhere there is some kind of privacy and the model/client feels comfortable (in a deserted place in nature, in a bathroom, any private room, in a pool etc.)
The characteristics of a boudoir photoshoot are usually sensuality, femininity and elegance.
The outfit may vary depending on the comfort level of the model but most of the time is a sensual attire like lingerie or see-through clothes.
It depends on the experience you choose and the level of customization.
In studio boudoir photoshoots start at $590 with $450 in credits towards prints or digital images.
Prints start at $310. Digital Images are $200 each (with the option to purchase packages).

Professional hair and makeup artistry can be added to your session for an additional fee.
The price includes:
– 60 minutes photoshoot with 2-3 outfit changes
– consultation where we discuss the set and backdrop you want, wardrobe and props
– pose coaching during the photoshoot
– preview gallery after the photoshoot
Majority of the time a boudoir photoshoot is a present for the significant other (before or after getting married, for their birthday or anniversary, before a military deployment, during a pregnancy etc.). But it could also be as a present for the client to celebrate herself, a milestone or simply to do a fun and empowering experience.
Most of the time the client decides to print a photo album with these beautiful images to remind herself of just how beautiful she is and to boost her self esteem anytime she needs it!
